My Post for The Crafters Companion Blog Today!

These small canvases look so pretty in my kitchen.
I am not a painter.  I know how to colour a canvas or alter a background, but painting a flower was never in my list of things that I could do.
That's why I am so surprised that I can create my own style of painted flowers using Sheena's painting guides.  These are the canvases drying.  You might have noticed that my final pieces look extra shiny though.
In order to give them such a glazed appearance I mixed up a batch of Envirotex Lite resin.  I am the blog author of Resin Crafts Blog and resin is my favorite art medium.
Here is one of the canvases curing in the sunshine.
The two finished pieces can now be hung in the kitchen and I don't have to worry about water or cooking splatter.
And now I have a give-a-way!
I am going to be giving away this Tulip Stamp Set!  Just leave me a friendly comment and you'll be entered to win!  Draw ends Monday July 18th.
