I love everything about books. Especially their component parts. Whether it is using a torn out page to alter, a spine to add just the right touch to an artwork, a marbled end page that looks perfect unchanged, or covers of a vintage book worn by use and time. Love them all. While not true for everybody, I have no hesitation tearing into a book, repurposing every last piece, and creating something new. File it under recycling!
